Moonstar heart raced almost as fast as her paws as she jolted across the rolling hills, a brown rabbit just mouselengths away from her claws. Together the two sped off across the moorlands like cheetahs, swerving and zig-zagging every other way.
Moonstar left the Clan for Crowfur to look after, while she went hunting. The sunhigh patrol already made its rounds, and the silver she-cat wanted to see if she could snag anything extra.
The leader could feel her breath shortening, her limbs screaming for a rest, maybe she should just let this one-- No. I have to get this one. Determination, Moonstar! Get that rabbit!! Diving in for a tacke, the she-cat manages to grip its back with her forepaw. Holding on for dear life, she rises to her paws before delivering a killing blow.

Eagle'eyes was just roaming around the territory, partly sniffing for pray, the other enjoying a nice day in Green-Leaf. He though WindClan territory was the best place to be on a steaming day like today, because of the fact wind almost always was blowing, keeping the air somewhat cool. He was thankful for not being born into any other clan. Although, on rare occasions, there was no wind to be found, and the territory was a nightmare. Shaking the thought away, he continued on, nearing the center of their hunting grounds.
Eagle'eyes was fairly tall, and peaked his head over the long grass, only to see and hear his leader. She was running frantically closer to him at a dangerous speed. She must be chasing a rabbit., he thought, shrugging it off. But she just kept barreling towards him. The brown tom leaped out of the way just before she dove to make her killing bite. When, the rabbit was killed, her slid through the grass to her. "Nice catch. You must've been chasing that one for a while." He could see the rabbit's still shocked and fearful body language frozen on its dead body. He looked up at the sky.
Thank you, StarClan, for the wonderful Green-Leaf!

"Nice catch. You must've been chasing that one for a while." A voice from behind startled Moonstar. Whipping around with a light gasp, she the calmed once seeing who it belonged to. Eagle'eyes; one of her most finest warriors. He was very efficient in his duties, and never denied an opportunity to help his Clanmates. In fact, if it wasn't for Crowfur, he might have been deputy just as well. "Oh, hello Eagle'eyes," Moonstar sighed, letting her fur flatten.

Eagle'eyes blushed. Heh, sorry for startling you, just thought I'd say 'hi'." Inside, his heart was pounding. Ever since Moonstar became noticed, and deputy, he had taken a liking to her. They might have talked a few times before that, but he didn't remember. Hopefully, she couldn't tell he blushed, and felt a little nervous talking to her.
He was relieved when he saw Moonstar's pelt lie flat on her back. He didn't want to seem like a nuisance to her.

Brightwish flicked her white ears, hearing voices off in the distance. Enemies perhaps? She crouched down, creeping up the hill, the tall grasses tickling her body. Brightwish knew she had to be extremely cautious because of her snow-white fur. Thankfully the grass was think though, and she need only jump forward when...
Oh. She immediatly recognized the scents now - for the wind was blowing towards her. Her leader speaking with Eagle'eyes. Moonstar seemed to be rather tired, and Eagle'eyes seemed...embarassed?
Brightwish rolled her eyes, popping up out of the grass. "Do you need any help hunting?" She asked her leader - one of the few cats she respected.

Eagle'eyes jumped a little, but not obveous to see when he heard another she-cat's voice. So much for time alone... He could barely get any time with his clan leader without someone else around. He was a bit annoyed by the appearence of Brightwish.
"Do you need any help hunting?"
The brown tom turned around to look at the she-cat. He only looked, knowing the question wasn't dirrected to him. He turned back to Moonstar, and sat down, lashing his tail behind him.

"Do you need any help hunting?" Moonstar looked past Eagle'eyes at the approaching she-cat; Brightwish. Oh. Moonstar was not oblivious of Brightwish's personality. She knew exactly what the she-cat could be like. "Oh, hello Brightwish. That would be very appreciative, thank you." the silver-blue tabby replied, dipping her head. Still, a little help never hurts, especially if it's in regards to hunting. Then, she thought of something. "Eagle'eyes," Moonstar turned to look at the brown warrior. "Would you like to tag along, too?"

Brightwish couldn't help but feel the irritation that seemed to come off of Eagle'eyes. Brightwish snorted, but nodded her head at her lead. "Very well."
She slunk away from them, a little farther back down the hill. She was crouched low, and searching for prey. There were alot of different scents here. Some from other Windclan members, some from prey, and some from predators. Snakes. She could smell grass snakes that were recently here. Now, Brightwish wasn't really frightened of snakes - especially grass snakes - but they were much too quick.
She inched away from the scent of snake, following a more recent smell. The smell of a prairie hen. They were feisty creatures, a bit bigger than a rabbit but they were delicious. Brightwish dropped her body lower to the ground, seeing a flash of movement.
That prairie hen would be hers.

A little flicker of hope entered his eyes. "Eagle'eyes, would you like to tag along, too?" He was relieved he was asked, and didn't want to follow her around without being asked to, and he really didn't want to ask himself. Atleast not around Brightwish.
Eagle'eyes nodded his head. "Sure." He meowed in a calm and level voice. He looked behind him to see if Brightwish was still there, but he scented her a little ways away. Hopefully she'll just leave me alone.

Lilytail was padding near the river along the border with RiverClan to get a drink of water. It was the height of Greenleaf and that meant it was only to get hotter. Bending her neck down she lapped up some of the cool and refreshing water and brought her head back up when she heard cats mewing back and forth. Turning around she saw the faint outline of cats on a ridge. Lilytail shook her pelt and dashed off towards them. When she got closer she realized it was Moonstar, Eagleeyes and Brightwish. Slowing down, she walked up beside Eagleeyes. "Hello. Its hot, isn't it?" She mewed, while bowing her head politely to Moonstar.

Moonstar nodded, turning to Brightwish. But when she turned, the white she-cat had already left off. I guess she's pretty urgent to hunt. the tabby thought, following her scent and padding off down the hill. Suddenly, she could make out a faint silhouette approaching them across the hill. Looking closer, she found that it was Lillytail. "Hello. Its hot, isn't it?" "Not really," she replied. "There's been a cool breeze lately, and the sun's not that hot." Looking back in search of Brightwish, she found the she-cat stalking a nearby prarie hen. It's clear that she's quite determined to catch it. I'll leave her to this one.
