{: Lightpaw :}
Past names: Lightpaw
Future names: Lightfoot
Age: 7 moons
Parents: Amberblaze x Owlfoot (Deceased)
Kin: N/A
Mate: N/A
Kits: N/A
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Medicine cat apprentice
Abilities: Quick learner, meticulous, good at climbing and leaping, and stealthy.
Disabilities: Poor and reluctant fighter, can’t stand to see a mess, stubborn, timid, and socially awkward.
Main Attack Move: Leap-and-hold
Basic Description: Long-haired, cream tabby-and-white she-cat with dark brown eyes.
Description: Lightpaw is a petite, cream-colored cat with very dark brown eyes and light brown tabby stripes marking her pelt. Her long pelt (which is still coated with a thin layer of kit-fluff) is fluffy and somewhat unruly, but she does her best to keep it well-groomed at all times. A patch of snow-white fur tips her thick tail, and she also has white paws, ears, chest, underbelly, and muzzle. But despite her small structure, Lightpaw has a sturdy build and strong hind legs.
Personality: To put it bluntly, Lightpaw is a perfectionist. An ever-working, reclusive, socially awkward perfectionist. She has a very keen eye for detail and always fusses over the little things, always has to organize the herbs and keep everything in place in the medicine cat den. While this can be annoying to some cats, one good trait has come of her meticulousness (though it can also be considered a curse): her hard-working attitude. Lightpaw is incredibly devoted to her patients as well as her duty as medicine cat apprentice, and she will never give up on an ailing cat if she can help it. As a result, Lightpaw often works herself too hard -- but she is far too stubborn to listen to anyone’s advice and take it easy. In her mind, she can’t afford to “take it easy” when cats all over the world are dying every second of every day.
Once a cat looks past Lightpaw’s perfectionism and cracks open her timid shell, they’ll see that she is a kind and witty she-cat. But Lightpaw, an introvert, is a cat of few words and many thoughts. She finds it difficult to be herself around anyone except close friends and family, and she has a tendency to allow her work to swallow her whole. Lately she has been trying to improve upon her social life (Lightpaw finally gave in to her mother’s requests to “live a little” and wander out of her comfort zone), but her attempts have been awkward at best and she still upholds her work as her top priority. As she matures, hopefully Lightpaw will drop the “all work, no play” attitude and learn to have a healthy balance of both.
History
Kithood -- Lightpaw was born to Amberblaze and Owlfoot, and even then she was a soft-spoken recluse. She had always been interested in becoming medicine cat, but when her father died of infection after he was critically wounded by a fox, she realized healing others was the path laid out for her. The last thing she wanted was for any cat to experience the same pain she felt when she lost Owlfoot, and the reason for her strong devotion and hard-working attitude can be traced back to her father’s death.
Other accounts: None right now.
Name: Lightpaw
Biography: Look above
Clan: ThunderClan
Have you been a medicine cat before?: Yes
If Yes, where?: Dawn of the Clans, Falling Stars: Dark Forest vs. StarClan, and TGLA: The Next Generation. All of these were RPs in the Warriors’ Wish forums.
Why your character is a good choice: Lightpaw is gentle, empathetic, a very hard worker, and will never give up on a patient.
Why your character is not a good choice: Lightpaw is ridiculously stubborn and works too hard. Oftentimes she stays up late tidying up the medicine den, memorizing herbs’ appearances and functions, or brainstorming new healing techniques. This habit causes her to have some bad days, where she confuses one herb for another or dozes off on her paws.
Do you know any Warrior Cat herbs on the top of your head? {without looking at the herb sheet}: Honey soothes sore and itchy throats; catmint eases congestion and is the main herb used to cure greencough; feverfew reduces high body temperatures; watermint eases stomach aches; poppy seeds lessen pain and make the patient drowsy; cobwebs are used to stop blood flow; and mouse bile can get rid of parasites in the patient’s fur.
Is there a special reason your cat is medicine cat? {ex: disability}: No.
