}OOC: I hope I'm doing this right ^^{ Riverclan's deputy was not having the best day so far. Earlier today he had attempted to catch a fish for his clan, but the fish was much too slippery for his claws to grasp onto. So fishing was not going as planned.
Feeling ashamed, he had tried to catch a squirrel he spotted that seemed to be mocking Lightningstripe's very existance. He gave chase to the squirrel, but the squirrel made such a sharp turn that Lightningstripe had lost his footing and he smacked head-first into a tree. For once, he was out-smarted and out-run.
Lightningstripe now sat near a stream, a small knot(?) forming on his head from the earlier impact. He was very frustrated at himself right now and depression was beginning to set in. Although he tried not to let his failures control his life.
He stared, unblinking at the flowing water. Sometimes wishing he could be as fluid and graceful as the water. Get ahold of yourself Lightningstripe. You must be strong for Riverclan. He sighed, slouching a bit.

Lionfrost walked down to the gorge letting her mind wander today had been okay so far, but she knew it wouldn't last. It seemed like every day was a bad day to her she just didn't seem to care though. Most cats stayed away from her now, because of her indifferent attitude and the fact that she easily lost her temper. So lost in her thoughts she crashed into Lighteningstripe. Not knowing who it was she leapt back with a snarl bristling before she noticed who it was and let her fur lie flat. "Hello, Lighteningstripe," she meowed forcing herself to be sound friendly. At least she didn't have to force her respect to the deputy. She actually did respect those of a higher rank and the elders. She licked her paw and gazed at Lighteningstripe, "What are you doing here, most of our clan mates avoid the gorge," she told him trying to be friendly and start a conversation, but she was pretty sure she was doing a good job at faking.

Lightningstripe stumbled backwards from impact, before quickly regaining his balance. He gave his head a quick shaking, forcing his fur to lie flat after being startled so suddenly.
Lightningstripe immediatly recognized the scent as non other than Lionfrost - the fiery, short-tempered tabby cat. As soon as he realized who she was, he regained his composure. His face turning from disappointed and depression (like it showed earlier) into his normal blank expression. "Hunting. You?" Was the only reply he gave to the female warrior, although he had no caught food. He really did not feel like explaining his failures to Lionfrost right now. She seems agitated, better watch out. He thought.

"Thinking," Lionfrost told him looking around her ears swiveling to catch any new noise. She had been hunting earlier and caught a few fish, but she was no longer in the mood to hunt. She knew that being made a warrior late would've opened her to teasing if she was different, but her blunt nature made others think twice about taunting her. She also didn't want her clan mates to treat her like a kit, because if she got close to anyone they tried to get to know her and comfort her, and then the died. To be honest that was all life wad to her life or death. You either lived or you died in someone a lot of young cats died and so died a lot of the older cats.

Lightningstripe glanced over at Lionfrost. He hesitated before asking, "Something on your mind?" Normally, he didn't talk this much. But Lionfrost looked genuinly upset about something now, and Lightningstripe knew what it felt like to keep everything bundled up inside.
It hurt sometimes, keeping things hidden. Not like a burning pain, more achey. Like sore muscles. He didn't mind asking Lionfrost either. He wasn't terrified of her yelling at him, like most cats. If she did snap at him, he wouldn't blame her. Sometimes that was the only way to truely express yourself.
Lightningstripe flicked his tail patiently, his ears turning towards the sound of a fish flipping out of the water. I will catch you soon you bloody fish, he thought to himself.

Lionfrost was shocked by his question no one had ever cared about her before. No one knew why her personality had changed, but she was afraid her leader would thrown her out if she found out about her past, 'What if he judges me?' she asked herself. 'Wait since when have I cared about what others think?' she asked herself frowning. Taking a deep breath she made her decision hoping that she was doing the right thing.
"Can you keep a secret?" she asked him sitting down and curling her tail over her paws.

He tilted his head, staring into Lionfrost's eyes. Lightningstripe knew how secrets were. They could be difficult and slippery to handle. The secret could shock you to the point it's hard to contain - or perhaps it puts others at risk. Or the secret could bore someone enough that they just want to spread it to get to someone's nerves. Then there are the secrets that are slightly twisted somehow, so it's more of a rumour than a secret. Lightningstripe knew these well. He rarely had the guts to share his secrets, but she seemed so upset he couldn't deny. It's not like he talked enough to share the secret anyway. "Yes. I may." He said in his deep rumbly voice.

"Well my story goes back to the time I was killed, I was born to to rogues, my mother Dusk, and my father Claw, well my parents were always fighting about one thing or another, than one night when I was about three moons I was woken up by the sound of yowling and blood, I ran out of the home den and hid in a bush watching as my father killed my mother, horrified I ran away not knowing he had seen me run out of my hiding spot. When I was six moons I stumbled onto riverclan territory and ran into a riverclan patrol who brought me to the riverclan where I spent a few days resting before I became an apprentice. I started training, but I should've known my happiness wouldn't last, when I was ten moons old my father attacked me during a solo hunt, but by the time some riverclan warriors arrived my father had already fled leaving me near death making it so that I had to spend moons recovering from his brutal attack, and my personality changed," Lionfrost meowed bitterly
