Have you ever wanted to work a little more on your roleplaying skills? Maybe the length you want isn't good enough. Maybe you are struggling with understanding proper grammar and spelling. Or maybe you just want to be the very best, like no one ever was? The roleplay school is a good start. Here you will learn the basics of roleplay and writing styles. When you register to become a student, you will be paired with a registered teacher, have your own thread in a private board, and have access to the only password-protected board on this forum! How cool is that? Not only this, but you will be able to learn more about writing and roleplay on your favorite website. There are only a few rules and useless information I'd like to highlight for both students and teachers.
1. You must stay active. It's just like going to regular school. If you don't come, you won't learn anything. You eventually get contacted and, where I'm from, suspended. Try and talk to your teacher everyday.
2. It will be a little challenging. Here you will probably start out easy, but your teacher can add a minimum post amount. Try your best to meet their expectations, but if the expectations are to high, you may notify them.
3. Try to have one lesson every day. A lesson a day helps you in every way! This helps with activity as well. Say your teacher gives you a lesson on describing nature. You will complete your assignment, post it, and your teacher will grade it. Once it is graded, the teacher is free to continue with another lesson.
If you are registering as a STUDENT, this is the form for you: ***do not write inbetween the bold codes! Write outside the . Username:Your Characters: What do you already know?: What do you want to work on?: On a scale of 1-10, 10 being terrible, how would you rate your writing skills?: Roleplay Samples: {may be off-site, at least two, you may provide more} -click-, -click-
If you are registering to be a TEACHER, this is the form for you: ***do not write inbetween the bold codes! Username:Miststar. But my actual username is Stormflight, if that's what you mean. Characters you play:Miststar, The Woodwitch, Parvati (yet to fill out form), Veilpaw (soon), Veinpaw (soon) Have you been a rp teacher before?:I've taught people about roleplaying before, although it wasn't called a teacher. Strengths:My strengths are pretty well-rounded; I type using the correct grammar and spelling, and I can get out lengthy posts when I feel like it or when I need to, and I describe things well. Weaknesses:I have a fairly short attention span, so if I get bored, and I can get bored easily depending on the situation, I randomly disappear and sometimes don't reappear for a while. Oh, and I sometimes get a bit lazy. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being terrible, how would you rate your writing skills?:2/3. Roleplaying Samples: -click-, -click-

Username: Leopardstar Your Characters: Leopardstar, Bluefire, Shadowstalker, Eagle'eyes, and Aquapaw. What do you already know?: I have been told I have great writting skills. I'm just here to make them even better! ^^ What do you want to work on?: Length, spelling (God help me...), and more fine details. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being terrible, how would you rate your writing skills?: 7-8 Roleplay Samples: I really don't have any good ones. Just little baby ones from when I first started. This is really the first site I've done any thing like this on. So look around for them, preferably in the first gathering thread!
(Finished! ^^)

Username: Rookfall Characters you play: Rookfall, Vesser de Czagy Have you been a rp teacher before?: Not formally, but I have helped people out here and there. Strengths: I wouldn't say I'm brilliant at any one thing, but spelling seems to be a strong point of mine, and I'm a fair stickler for punctuation. Grammar not so much, since I can't spot mistakes 100% of the time, but it's not a weakness either. If it counts, I also tend to focus on characterization and pacing quite a bit. Weaknesses: Probably length. I can get caught up with worming out the details of one little thing and write myself into a corner when I realize I have to describe other things as well, so I tend to have to edit a fair amount to even things out. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being terrible, how would you rate your writing skills?: Three or four, maybe? I'm not so good a judge. Roleplaying Samples: -click-, -click-, -click- My character being Crow, in the last example.
Note- Due to reasons elaborated upon here, it would probably be best if I began 'teaching' after the 14th of July, to avoid an inconvenient gap in lessons.

Username: MoonstarYour Characters: Moonstar, PinepawWhat do you already know?: I know that whenever you're using dialogue, you create a new line. I know that describing your surroundings and what your character feels helps lengthen the post and gives it more detail. What do you want to work on?: I wish to work on lengthening my posts so that they're at a length that'll suffice to forum requirements. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being terrible, how would you rate your writing skills?: I'd say I'm a 4; I've written short stories and novellas before, and not just "little doggy is lost, finds owner, the end" type things.Roleplay Samples: 5th post, 11th post
