The brave, bold leader of RiverClan had not gotten even a wink of sleep after the gathering. Thoughts screamed in her ears, replaying memories of just a few hours ago. She could almost remember every word spoken by each individual feline. Some were full of admiration to those moving ranks, while most remained at bitter hisses and threats. StarClan was right--a fight starting at a gathering was far to childish. How would the leaders play this off tomorrow? Would she have her answer for Miststar? Would the she-cat make the right choices, or fall into the black-hearted ShadowClan leader's trap? She couldn't be so sure. But Bliss'star couldn't keep in her den all night. Members awaited outside, murmuring about the gathering's details. Most focused on the battle, while few others spread what they heard about a possible alliance. The leader couldn't stand hearing more gossip and decided she needed to set her members strait. It wouldn't be an official meeting, but she would talk with her members over a little fish and moonlit water. The RiverClan leader haulted her pacing and emerged from the shadows of her tree-root den, nodding to her members silently in greeting. Eyes seemed to burn into her pelt, studying her every move. She hated having so much attention, but being leader of a clan, she expected it. These cats would die for me and this beloved clan. No wonder they're so aware and cauious around me tonight, she blinked, hesitating to pick up a small trout as her pelt stung a bit more. She took a seat with her small piece, giving it a few nibbles before hiding her face quietly, a bit embarrassed. Maybe I should just speak with my deputy?, she blinked, watching the cat at the corner of her eye. No, they all deserve a say in this. This is not only my clan, she determined, raising her body to a sitting position. Her tail curled lightly around her paws. She gave a quick glance over her members as they seemed to press in closer to hear what she had to say. It got very quiet. "As you may have heard, Miststar has proposed an alliance with RiverClan. I was a bit curious to this, since it is Green-Leaf and all the clans are easily fed. However," she snapped, letting her voice echo a bit. "...Miststar's intentions seemed to be held against ThunderClan. ThunderClan has been at peace with us for some moons, even though Sunningrocks is still in their possession." The silver she-cat kept her gaze hung with a few cats before continuing. "ThunderClan may be teaming with WindClan. I heard Leopardstar and Moonstar discussing a few things after the little quarrel. In this case, we'd be by ourselves and either be an open target, a supplier, or even just left alone. I am unsure of which path to choose. Sandystep was rather surprised that Bliss'star would ask this so freely, and even consider teaming with ShadowClan. After all, they were most known as the devious and darkest Clan. And why would they even need an ally; it might show the other Clans they are too gullible. This could be a trap.

"I do not think we should ally with ShadowClan." she meowed confidently, and as loudly as she could. It was the best she could to without seeming ignorant or rude. "This could be a trap. Or, or.. a test from the other Clans, to see if we are gullible enough to fall for anything." Maybe she had over thought this, could they truly want to ally with.. with RiverClan? The proposal was strange to her. Aren't they usually saying they are too strong and proud to ally and seem weak?

"I really think you should think very thoroughly about this, Bliss'star. Any Clan can be untrustworthy, especially if they just ask like she did. We, as you said, are at peace with ThunderClan and we would most definitely be outnumbered if they allied against us with WindClan." Wow, that was a lot of words. She took a breath and continued. "There is a chance we would be left alone, if we stay away, as we have not done anything to disrupt the other Clans."
