Icekit sat in her nest sulking she couldn't believe that Miststar had said that she was holding back her ceremony a moon, only because I stood up for my friend. 'I hope she doesn't have friends, because I don't see how she could have any with the way she acts,' she thought sourly and clawed the ground. Normally she was very shy, but her anger was making it so she stood up to those who messed with her friends. Scowling she fell into her nest not caring if it hurt.
As she lay in her nest she spotted a beetle and pounced on it squashing it taking her anger out on the beetle. Still scowling she began to pace around lashing her tail, 'the warrior code said nothing about standing up to your leader, now if I left camp or had attacked her,' then that would have been against the warrior code,' she thought gazing outside moodily.
Upon staring outside she saw that the sun was already high in the sky, 'so it must be at least sun high,' she thought her icy-blue eyes flashing. Turning her back on the entrance she began to angrily groom her fur, keeping her ears pricked for any new sounds. The fact was, was that when Miststar had talked about delaying her apprenticeship, it had made her feel unwanted. 'Miststar is frog brained, we need more apprentices, so she's frog brained to delay our apprenticeship, even if I am four moons, I'm already sick and tired of the nursery,' she thought moodily glaring down at her paws.
