Q: What are feathers?
A: Feathers {ƒ} are the currency the users here at Take Off use to buy different items for their roleplaying needs. They bend realistic matters, moving from simple appearance to even reviving a lost character. However, this means that some rules of character creation are made. Litters are limited to 3 kits or less, cats must be either full clan, full tribe, full rogue, or full kittypet, and if your character has a special attribute, you must buy it if it is in the shop.
Q: How do you earn feathers?
A: Feathers can be earned by posting around the site. You earn ƒ20 every time you post a thread or a reply. This can be on any board, however, spamming for feathers will follow a three strikes solution. First comes a warning and we will wipe those feathers you spammed for away. Next you will be penalized, losing shop rights, which in time, you will earn back. Finally, if you continue your struggle for spam or battle for your rights, you will be banned, and so will your other accounts. You will not be welcomed back at Take Off. Hey, It's better than buying feathers with real money!
Q: Will already registered and accepted cats have to pay for what they already have?
A: No. If your cat is half-clan, has different colored eyes, and five kits, but you joined the site before the shop, you have the new site discount. It's a little thanks for our older members who joined once we opened, back when we had little to no layout. A special thanks to giving us a push into becoming a successful site. However, if you want to change your character's eye color on an accepted character, you must buy it. Your little discount only works if your character in it's original state of how you posted it, random eye color, high amount of kits, non-clan heritage and all. Any changes you must buy.
Q: Will there be a shopkeeper?
A: In the future we will hold auditions for a shopkeeper. It will not be first come first serve. I will have to choose someone active and trust worthy, which these days can be hard to find.
Q: Can you take money I don't have, like a credit card?
A: If what you don't have is under ƒ-500, then yes. If you have ƒ800 and want items that add up to, lets say, ƒ1000, you would have -ƒ200 in your account. However, until you have a positive amount of feathers, you need to pay off what you owe. You don't have to pay any sort of tax, either. xD |
