Basic Description:
Sebastian is a handsome Tuxedo Cat with stunning green eyes.
Description:
The picture shows his overall appearance. Sebastian is the largest of his siblings, and he has yet to visit the cutter.
Personality:
Of his siblings, Sebastian is the leader. He walks around with his head held high and tail up, giving off that air of I'm better than you, so obey me. One would think he was raised an aristocrat instead of a simple house cat. His mind is filled with ideas and plans for a higher future, and he uses his words to get other cats on board. He was even able to get his Housefolk's mutt to follow his orders, but that dog really just likes to please him and the Housefolk.
Sebastian isn't the kind of cat to get himself dirty. No, he's more into sitting on the sidelines, directing how things go, and allowing everyone else to do the dirt work. But then the Housefolk enter the picture, and he's forced to act like a sweet little cat for them. Does he hate his Housefolk? Oh, no. He loves them because they feed him and keep him out of the rain. He's also a little protective of them, being quick to snap at others for disrespecting them. He also understands some of their strange language, having heard them use it over and over again. Simple things, like commands or the names to certain household appliances. He still likes to refer to the television as the 'magic box', but he'll only say it in the presence of only himself.
Underneath that aristocratic personality, there is a big softy. It's hard to come by, unless you can worm your way into his heart. His siblings see it more often than not, unless Sebastian is having one of his moments. He's also quite loyal, never going back on his word. Why? Pride and honor, mainly, but you can always expect his promises to be carried through. He also has a soft spot for kits and even puppies. He would never dream of harming one, and he frowns upon anyone else doing it.
History:
Sebastian never actually knew his father. Olivander vanished soon after he and his siblings were born, never to be seen again. Their mother was fine without him, though. The Housefolk helped her raise the three kits, even through the rebellious, hyperactive stages. Yes, once upon a time, Sebastian actually acted like a kit without a care in the world. Ah, those were the days, chasing after butterflies, playing pointless games of pretend with his siblings, and hitching a ride on the family dog.
His Housefolk never had any plans to separate the trio from their mother, and it wasn't like he would allow them to. Their family was a happy one until they were eleven moons of age. Their father came home one dark and stormy night. At least, he thought it was his father. Tiddles had exclaimed "Honey, you're home!" right in the middle of the game of tag he and his siblings were having. They all stopped, ears perking, and eyes locking on the slim, drenched figure standing at the open back door. The feline that was there looked like he came out of a horror movie: his body was covered in mange, what little fur sticking out in all different directions despite the rain. He looked like he hadn't eaten in days, and there were traces of rabies from the somewhat foaming mouth and crazed look in his eyes.
With a screech, he lunched at their mother, and the two began screeching and attacking each other with claws unsheathed and teeth bared. The trio fled under the couch, watching with fear as the strange tom assaulted their mother. The Housfolk were quick to act at the sound of screeching and yowls. They emerged from their private dens, the head of the household carrying a strange black object that shined with each flash of lightning. A shot rang out, and the crazed tom fell limp. Their mother stood there for a second, heavily panting, before collapsing as well. She was rushed off to the vet, and the tom was thrown into a black bag and tossed in the trash can outdoors. The spot where he had died was cleaned of blood and fur, and it was cleaned a couple of other times just in case the mange was still there.
The next day, the eldest of the Housefolk came home without their mother. They didn't have to eavesdrop to understand that she was gone. The female's sobbing and yowling was enough to tell them.
Their mother's death changed all three of them. Espresso had become an emotional mess, Dave became silent and reserved, and Sebastian... Well, the first couple of days after the event were spent hiding in the attic. When he emerged from the attic, he was a new tom. He wasn't going to let any other family members fall, be it cat, housefolk, or even that annoying mutt.
The moons passed him by, and he was able to slowly aid Espresso into becoming a stronger, less emotional she-cat. He was even able to get Dave to speak to them again, though he still had his moments of silence. The three strengthened their bond. While they may not play tag and enjoy themselves like they had as kits, they spent time lounging in front of the 'magic box' or warding off any strange creatures. Only a few moons ago, a burglar had tried to sneak into the house through a window in the kitchen. He was there to greet him, letting out a hiss. His siblings came up behind him, the three of them crouching on the counter. With a swish of the tail, the family dog came bounding into the kitchen, baring its teeth and growling. The burglar was sent packing.
