Pinepaw walked around camp, obviously bored with himself. His small claws flexed in and out of his paws with each step, the young apprentice dying to do something. Raising his round head, Pinepaw looked around the steady-going camp. ThunderClan wasn't bustling with life, it was actually a quite calm and tranquil time of day--when the sun started to drop out of the sky, slowly seeping into the horizon and turning the turquoise skies purple. Shadows expanded like trees across the ground, and everything seemed to settle down and prepare for the night. Pinepaw sighed restlessly, bounding over to a group of warriors sharing tongues and chatting amongst themselves. "Hi!" he squeaked cheerfully.

Bluefire was out yet again in the burning heat. How ever much he dreaed it, nothing could stop him from wanting to be in the beauty of ThunderClan territory. His long pelt was being groomed by another warrior, and he didn't care who at the moment. For the past few days, the weather had been humind, making his pelt friz and fluff out without even trying. This rusulted in an unhappy Bluefire. He hated Green-Leaf and the heat that came with it for these reasons. Some cats might like it for its plentiful prey, but he didn't care.
The other warriors didn't complain when he didn't groom their pekt in return, since it was a great effort to keep himself cool. He would just lay there and let any cat attempt to untangle his masive mats along his hingquarters, underarms and below his neck. They most frequently tangled there.
Looking accross the camp, he felt bad for his apprentice, Pinepaw. The young tom looked bored with himself, and soon came up to him. Bluefire looked into his eyes, and probably saw a fleck of desperation to go do something. The warrior rasping his tongue over his back stopped, feeling the blue warrior's muscles tence, ready to get up. He stood over Pinepaw and gave him a weak smile, all he could muster at the time being.
"Hello, Pinepaw. What brings you here?" He asked this in a soft voice, not wanting to challenge the apprentice. It wasn't offten an apprentice came over to a senior group of warriors.

As Pinepaw made his way to Bluefire, he could sense something was troubling the large blue tom. The way he seemed annoyed and uncomfortable. It was probably that long coat he wore in such a hot Greenleaf. The blue warrior must be burning underneath all that! And on top of that, it'd always get tousled and have burrs and such stuck in it.
Poor Bluefire.. Pinepaw thought sympathetically, not wanting to imagine the uncomfortable conditions he had to put up with daily. "Well, uhh," the little tabby mewed, having lost some of what he was about to say. Standing up, Bluefire looked quite intimidating, making Pinepaw become distracted for an instance. "I was just looking for something to do .... We didn't practice any training today, did we?" he suddenly piped up, having a thought come to mind--hopefully Bluefire would feel in the mood to do it, too.

________________ Mudmist walked out of the warriors den spotting his dear friend Bluefire. He looked wiped and tired, his apprentice on the other hand was ready to leap into action."Ummm, excuse me Pinepaw but may I speak with Bluefire for a minute?", he asked the small tabby.
"Bluefire? What is wrong you look extremely uncomfortable! Do you want me to take Pinepaw out hunting? He is awfully antsy.",Mudmist started into his old friends eyes. He did not remember him looking so tired and uncomfortable. Mudmist had only became friends with the young tom about 10 moons ago when he became mates with Brightstorm, Leopardstar's best friend.
Mudmist looked away from Bluefire for a moment searching for his mate wondering where she was. Focus Mudmist focus! He told himself focusing back on Bluefire.

Pinepaw turned his attention to a familiar brown warrior approaching the two. Mudmist asked kindly if he could have a word with the little apprentice's mentor. "Uh huh," he murmured, scampering a bit away to go inspect a trail of ants marching across the clearing. The brown kitten knelt down, closely examining the single file of black insects. They looked so neat, so efficient--and so boring. "Hah!" he yowled, slamming a paw between two ants, breaking the line. Now they stopped in confusion. What was this big fuzzy rock? Where were their companions? How would they ever get to the other side! Oh the unspeakable horror!!
