{: Oakpelt :}
Past names: Oak-kit, Oakpaw.
Future names: None.
Parents: Mistfur x Hawkfeather.
Kin: N/A.
Mate: None.
Kits: None.
Clan: ThunderClan
Rank: Medicine cat.
Abilities: Thinking “on his paws”, climbing, interpreting visions/omens, healing, moving quietly.
Disabilities: Talking to unfamiliar cats, slight squeamishness. Also, while he’s received training in hunting and fighting (even medicine cats have to learn how to hold their own), he is not quite as skilled as some of his Clanmates.
Main Attack Move: Front paw blow.
Basic Description: Broad-shouldered light brown tabby tomcat with white paws, throat, and tail-tip; green eyes.
Description: Oakpelt is about the average size for a tom his age, though his large paws and broad shoulders make him look a little bigger than he actually is. He has a normal build—muscles are hidden under his pelt, but he is not “bulky”. His fur is short and pale brown in color, striped with slightly darker brown tabby markings. The tip of his tail is snowy-white, as are his paws and throat. His face is formed well enough—though his ears are perhaps a bit too large. Oakpelt’s eyes are leaf-green.
Personality: Oakpelt is sort of a quiet tom, which has led some cats to believe that he is shy. If you take the time to get to know him, he reveals himself to be a good-natured cat with a sense of humor. Oakpelt is patient and generally looks before he leaps. He’s compassionate, though he’s perhaps better at listening than giving advice. He loves ThunderClan dearly, and tends to look on the bright side of life if at all possible. However, his youth and relative inexperience do mean that he sometimes doubts himself.
History: Oakpelt’s kithood was rather normal, though he was the only kit to be born to his litter. He spent his days listening to stories of days gone by—and while he wasn’t a perfect kit, he really wasn’t much of a troublemaker. As he grew older, it became clear that he was not quite as interested as other kits were about becoming a warrior. Instead, he wanted to put his paws upon the path of a medicine cat. The previous medicine cat noticed this, and approached Oakkit about it when the tom was getting close to six moons old.
Oakpaw threw himself whole-heartedly into his apprenticeship, learning everything that he could. During this time, he learned quickly, and under his mentor’s watchful eye, began to blossom. The moons passed, and Oakpaw received his name of Oakpelt. However, things could not always be “mice and moonlight”. About three moons after Oakpelt received his name, his mentor finally succumbed to old age. It hit Oakpelt hard, to be sure—for about a quarter-moon, he went about his duties almost automatically. But he seems to have come back to himself, and is determined to serve his Clan as best he can.
Other accounts: None at the moment.

Clan: ThunderClan
Have you been a medicine cat before?: Yes
If Yes, where?: Beneath the Stars
Why your character is a good choice: Oakpelt is compassionate and patient—both useful qualities in a medicine cat.
Why your character is not a good choice: As mentioned before, he tends to doubt himself. Also, while he’s received the training, he still finds it a bit difficult to deal with serious wounds (i. e., large amounts of blood) without feeling slightly sick.
Do you know any Warrior Cat herbs on the top of your head? {without looking at the herb sheet}: Poppy seeds help relieve pain, borage aids a queen with producing milk, feverfew helps to reduce a feverish cat’s body temperature (often mixed with honey to disguise feverfew’s bitter taste), chamomile is used to calm a cat, marigold helps to prevent infection. And while not technically an herb, cobwebs are used to slow/stop bleeding.
Is there a special reason your cat is medicine cat? {ex: disability}: Nope.
