Basic Description: A short-haired grey tabby with blue eyes and a white chest, underbelly, and paws.
Description: A dark grey tom with black tabby stripes. He has a white chest, underbelly, tailtip, and white paws. He is a bit on the small side and has a lean, lithe build. His eyes are a light silvery-blue that sharply contrast his dark pelt. The tip of his left ear is torn and he has a long scar on his flank from an attack by a fox.
Personality: Nightfrost has always been quite kind and caring, but also quite shy and even cold at times. He gets along well enough with those he knows, but is often quite uncomfortable around strangers. He tends to be a bit distrustful of others, and typically prefers to keep to himself. However, he is loyal and intelligent and does whatever he can to help his clan. He has an insatiable desire for knowledge and always loves to learn new things.
History: Nightfrost's early life as a kit was rather uneventful. He and his sister spent much of their time playing together, dreaming of the day when they would finally become warriors like their parents. But, when they five moons old, just before they became apprentices, they wandered off from camp, seeking adventure in the territory. They had just given up and were returning home when they saw it; a fox had caught their scent, and it was following them. By the time their parents finally figured out what they had done and came after them, the fox already had Nightkit in its jaws. When he awoke the next day, he learned that his parents were able to drive off the fox, and managed to rescue him in the process. He spent half a moon in the medicine cat's den, time that made him begin to see the value in a medicine cat's work.
Not long after, he was chosen as the new medicine cat apprentice. As he learned what it took to be a healer, he quickly realized that this truly was the path he wanted. He threw himself into his mentor's teachings and, over time, began to turn into a promising young medicine cat. After many moons, his mentor decided he was ready, and granted him the name Nightfrost. About five moons after this, Nightfrost's mentor passed away, leaving the rank of medicine cat to his apprentice. He settled into his new position quickly and has spent his time since then trying to live up to the example set by the one before him.
