{: TIDALRAGE :} Past names: Rage of Tidal Wave, Tidalkit, Tidalpaw Future names: -x- Parents: Fire of Dawn Sky {Dawnfire} x Teller of Pointed Stones {Stoneteller} Kin: Bliss'star, Harmonywind (location unknown), Hidden Blade of Darkness (deceased) Mate: -x- Kits: -x-
Clan: RiverClan Rank: Warrior Abilities: Tree Climbing, Swimming, Hunting, Fighting, Leadership, Water Battle, Fishing Disabilities: Main Attack Move: Tree-Turnaround: Tidalrage is a bulky, large cat, so he can easily intimidate the other opponent. During battle on land, he takes his size and tree-skills for an advantage. If a cat is charging at him, he appears to be running around, be he actually heads for a tree, bounces off its trunk, and then crashes the opponent to the ground with his powerful body.
Basic Description: A dark blue tom with fierce amber eyes, a powerful heart and handsome features.
Description: Tidalrage can be easily described as a mix of a russian blue and maine coon cat. His genes seem to be balenced in a perfect order, giving him a strong build, a lanky body, medium sized, yet thick, water-resistant fur, tipped ears, and a long, fluffy tail. His fur is a silver-blue, the color of a signature russian blue, as well as dark stripes of his maine coon side. From the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail he measures around 35 inches, and from to top of his ears to his pawpads is around 13 inches. He's a pretty big cat full of courage and bravery.
Starting from the top of his ears, Tidalrage has a few longer peices of hair that resemble those of a lynx, which comes from his mainecoon blood. He has the face of a russian blue with his long, handsome face as well as his round, amber eyes. Those amber orbs of his usually reflect his moods and feelings and can be pretty easy to detect. His neck is pretty short and covered in thick, fluffy fur. Dark blue stripes swerve and mark around almost every part of his body.
His long legs seem to look made for running and climbing, but however, this is usually not their function. He's an expert swimmer and underwater hunter, and thanks to his legs, he can shoot through most currents. His white mitten paws seem delicate in their white base, but they hide his sharp, black claws. His torso is a little long, but his back legs are large, making it seem as if his middle is short. His back legs can help him spring a wide range for land prey. His tail is thick, usually happily high in the air. It expresses a lot of emotion, following his body language at all times.
Personality: Since he was a kit, his name has always been a little bit of a lie. Rage of Tidal Wave, now that was a fierce and powerful name back in the Tribe of Swirling Skies, but usually he was polite, and such a little gentleman. He always has been, and always will be. The storm at his birth was what he was named for, as well as being the opposite of his sister. It's a ying-yang sort of relationship with their names.
When he had to escape, his heart was basicly dark, poisoned with fear, regret, and sadness {see history}. The thought of losing it all was a common senerio in his mind. Everything seemed at loss until they were welcomed by a little rogue clan known as EchoClan, a ways away from the original four. He was basically adopted by their leader, Amberstar, who had also experienced loss. He began to be a little more positive.
And then, it skipped back sadness. They left EchoClan as warriors before heading toward the ancient four. His feelings grew a little more numb and he became a little more quiet to cats he met. He had grown back into an anti-social bud.
Once he joined RiverClan, he started to bloom out, becoming friendlier and eventually adopting every cat as his clan-family once more. Life now couldn't be better for the tom. He continues to be a cheery, calm, and respectable tom. He's always been fond of kits and she-cats, like the average cats his age, as well as become very flirtatious and funny (at least at times). He belongs to RiverClan, and his loyalty couldn't be unmatched by anything.
History: The night of his birth couldn't have been any more terrifying. Born into the Tribe of Swirling Skies, the tradition for expecting mothers was to hide out alone by the mountain's riverbank under a rock pile. It not only gave them great names, but a good place for mothers to get used to their own kits before the clan did, as well as offer a kit to their ansestors through the river.
A great storm brewed that night. The river flowed over the aging green-leaf grass, flooding it with mud as wind swirled violently, making the few oaks and pines in the territory tremble. They were born during this hardship, the four of them, and boy did it seem like a lot of pain. The den was almost flooded by a massive wave, and for being the eldest, was his given name. As his siblings were born, the storm subsided, residing to a peaceful night of a full moon with just a gentle breeze to dry their pelts. The last, unexpected kit, frightened his mother. He was missing his eyes, as well as having a dark aura that she could sense. She was their offering, and with a talk with their ansestors, was a reincarnated ansestor trying to escape his eternal punishment.
Soon the tribe welcomed the three anxious kits as new to-bes. His sister began studying to be Skyteller, just like their father. Her destiny seemed to be more laid out than his hunting destiny. Sure, he could probably catch anything in any terrain, but that would never match up to her.
Two moons passed. They were now around five moons, and still completing their training until the usual leaf-bare drought began. The river was short of water, as well as frozen during most hours. Prey was dying out and being scavenged by the tough mountain birds. One by one the cats were picked off until they were destroyed by a painful fire rainstorm*. The to-bes, still a little well fed, were told to escape.
The three siblings fled down the mountain. They were taught how to hunt, so they would be fine, or at least when they could actually find prey. They wandered for about two days on foot before actually finding a small family of voles to save their empty bellies. They passed through a Two-Leg place, their hopes high for some type of prey to catch. But Harmonywind became the catch of the day for the Two-Legs as she was taken away into a two-leg nest. They waited for her, but when she arrived, she told them she was staying. Tidal and Bliss left here there, never to see her again.
It wasn't long until they stumbled into EchoClan. They were barely six moons, so they were named kits until they reached seven moons. Amberstar seemed to adopt them, mentoring them both. EchoClan trained them in two terrains--forest and water. He learned how to climb like a squirrel as well as swim like a fish. He was trained in combat and hunting, mastering them both. Soon they passed their assesment, Tidalpaw winning over his mentor's approval by catching a small duck, a very rare peice that could fill about five cat's bellies. He was named after his birth name in honor of the lost tribe.
However, just a moon after their arrival, the clan was attacked by two-legs. The trees were torn down and burned, prey being poisoned to drive them out. Blissmoon and Tidalrage fled once more, heading toward the ancient four clans they had heard about in stories. The two arrived in RiverClan not to long after, and with a hopeful act, were accepted as members into their rankings.
*fire rainstorm (acid rain) - no, it's not adele's fault. she didn't set fire to the rain here. factories just a little far away from the tribe had dumped liquid chemicals into the river. the water evaporated into what's known as acid rain, burning and poisoning the forest and mountain top they lived in.
Other accounts: Bliss'star
